Contempo Aesthetics COVID-19 Office Procedures (Updated February 2022)

The following guidelines have been in effect since June 2021:

All patients and staff must comply with the following guidelines:

  • As a healthcare setting, a face mask must be worn upon entry and at all times in common areas. 

  • All self-certified, fully vaccinated persons will no longer be required to complete a COVID-19 intake form

The following guidelines have been in effect since December 2020:

In an effort to limit the exposure of Coronavirus, or COVID-19, we are making necessary adjustments for the protection and wellbeing of you, our staff, and our community.

We are following guidelines set forth for "Doctors and Dentists" in Los Angeles County as per the State's website here: https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy

​

Prior to making or arriving for an appointment, please answer the following questions. You will also be provided a release asking the following:

  • Please disclose your travel history within the past 14 days

  • Have you been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?

  • Have you experienced an abnormal temperature or experienced flu-like symptoms within the past 14 days? 

  • Are you currently taking and immunosuppressant drugs?

Current policies regarding appointments:

  • DO NOT bring friends, family, or children with you to your appointment. Only you, the patient, will be permitted inside our facility at the time of your appointment

  • You must wear a face mask, or appropriate face covering, upon arrival and as instructed during your appointment

  • If you do not have an appointment, or call ahead, we may decline entrance

  • Appointment times have been extended so as to limit the number of clients in the practice at any given time

  • Rooms will be pre-assigned

  • Please understand that we may not be able to readily accommodate specific appointment times as we have modified our hours of operation

  • Although a 48-hour cancellation policy will be in effect, we ask that if you feel unwell to please let our office know as soon as possible so we may reschedule your appointment without charge

  • The following services are currently suspended: Fibroblast, Sublative RF Resurfacing, Laser Hair Removal

Safety protocols:

  • Please expect to have your temperature taken upon arrival with no-touch forehead thermometer. If it reads100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, or you decline, we will ask that you return home

  • Our providers will wear face masks during treatments

  • Our staff have their temperatures checked daily upon reporting for work  

  • We have increased deep clean and sanitizing protocols as well as increased availability of hand sanitizer throughout our practice

  • If you are receiving a treatment that does not permit a face mask to be worn, you will be offered a nasal sanitizer antiseptic swab and antiseptic mouth wash to help fight against any bacteria in the nasal passage and mouth

Purchasing products:

  • We encourage you to order via our website to have shipped directly to your home

  • If you wish to pick-up in person, we ask that you order line and select in-store pick-up

  • An appointment may be booked online for Product Pick-Up

  • Prior to stopping by to pick-up your purchase, you may call ahead to confirm a time: 626-765-6291

Operational changes:

  • New hours of operation: Monday - Wednesday - Friday 9:30am to 5pm

  • Select Saturdays & Tuesdays only 9:30am to 2:30pm

  • CLOSED: Sunday, Thursday

  • If you call our office outside of business hours, please do not leave a voicemail. You may complete the form on the homepage or email for urgent matters.
